Vial

·independent & ad-free

Vial - The small glass bottle with a rubber stopper that the peptide powder ships in. You draw through the stopper without removing it.

Also called glass vialbottlevials

A vial is a small glass bottle with a rubber stopper secured tightly by an aluminium cap. Peptides usually ship as powder inside it.

Handling

Wipe the stopper with an alcohol swab before each draw; the needle pierces the rubber - the stopper stays on. This keeps the contents sterile and lets the vial be used multiple times.

Confusion with the ampoule

An ampoule is a sealed glass tube for a single draw (snapped open). A stoppered vial, by contrast, is made to be pierced repeatedly.
